What the portal holds
Your name, contact details, the documents you upload, documents we share with you, signatures, messages, checklists, organizer answers and invoices. Full Social Security and employer ID numbers are not stored in the portal's records.
How it is protected
Every sign-in needs your password and a code texted to your phone. The connection is encrypted, and documents we share with you are downloaded as password-protected files. Our staff can only see the clients assigned to them, and access is logged.
Where it is stored
Portal records and files are kept in Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, with a copy of your documents in our firm's Google Drive. Notification emails are sent from our firm email and never contain your documents or tax details.
Who we share it with
We use your information only to provide accounting and tax services to you, as described in our engagement letter and our separate privacy notice. We do not sell your information.
